DU MD in Ayurveda and Unani Medical 2012 Entrance Exam Dates

Delhi University (DU), Delhi has announced the exam dates for MD in Ayurveda and Unani Medical 2012 entrance exam which will be conducted in the month of October 2012. The entrance exam will be held on Saturday, October 06, 2012.

MD in Ayurveda and Unani Medical 2012 is an entrance exam conductedfor admission to the Master of Doctor (MD) in Ayurveda and Unani Medicine programs offered by the Faculty of Ayurvedic and Unani Medicines for the commencing session 2012-13.

Eligibility Criteria for DU MD in Ayurveda and Unani Medical

Candidate must have passed BUMS/BAMS or equivalent examination from other university established by law and recognized by the University of Delhi and CCIM and have also completed one year or six months internship in a recognized Hospital on or before 30th September, 2012 and must have full registration with the State Council/Board of Ayurvedic & Unani Medicines/CCIM.

How to Apply for DU MD in Ayurveda and Unani Medical

• The application form can be downloaded from their official website -www.du.ac.in.
• The candidates may obtain the Bulletin of Information (BOI) and application form from the office of the Deputy Registrar, Faculty of Ayurvedic & Unani Medicines, 6th Floor, V. P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007 by submitting/sending a bank draft/ banker’s cheque of Rs.1500/- in person and by post Rs.1550/- for GEN/OBC and Rs.1300/- in person and by post of Rs.1350/- for SC/ST/PH drawn in favor of the Registrar, University of Delhi, payable at Delhi.

Paper Pattern for DU MD in Ayurveda and Unani Medical

• The entrance test will consist of one paper for Ayurvedic & Unani consisting of 100 questions each course (covering all subjects Ayurvedic & Unani, taught at the level of BUMS/BAMS). The duration of the test would be of two hours and will carry a maximum of 400 marks.
• The questions will be of objective type with multiple choices (1), (2), (3) & (4) of which only one choice/response will be the most appropriate/correct one. For each correct response, the candidate will get 4 marks.
• For each incorrect response/answer, there will be a deduction of one mark. 
• The answer sheet will be placed inside the test booklet. The candidates will do rough work on the test booklet and not on the answer sheet.
