IAS Results
since the IAS exams are held in phases and you proceed to the next phase only after clearing the first or the previous exam, there are 3 results that come out before you are chosen.
The first results declared are of the prelims. Then come the results for your mains written paper and then you get the final results that are a combination of the written as well as the interview test.

The UPSC Mains Exam 2011 results was just announced recently on 1st of March 2012. List of roll numbers denotes the short listed candidates who will face the Interview test.
