Bihar TET results can pave way for appointment of teachers

The dream of becoming a teacher in primary and middle schools is not going to be easy one as Bihar School Examination Board - the body that conducts this examination - has implemented some stringent measures for evaluation. The results are ready and can be announced any time in the first half of May. So the results could be surprising. A record 33 lakh candidates have appeared for 1.12 lakh post of teachers. So these candidates are eagerly waiting for declaration of Bihar TET results.
Keeping in view the basic and graduate grade teachers the merit list of every subject of trained and untrained teachers will be prepared separately. But those who cannot make to the merit list have no need to get disappointed as government has another plans to recruit some extra candidates. For monitoring of school uniform and cycle scheme two persons on contract will be appointed in every block. In this scheme 17 thousand more candidates will be absorbed. Trained candidates will get priority in the list but in the absence of trained candidates the posts will be filled by untrained teachers as well.
After declaration of results one lakh post of primary teachers and 12 thousand post of secondary and higher secondary teachers will be filled from the successful candidates of Bihar TET. The appointments will be made in order of merit for which rules have been formulated.
The score of this examination will be valid for 7 years. Things will become clearer after declaration of Bihar TET-STET results.
